I survived!

Can I still count my week with Nate away as a success when the day after he gets home, I am completely losing it every 2 minutes??  Hmmmm....

On a positive note, for the record, Sunday at church was awesome.  The kids were on their best behavior.  We had a little talk that morning about being reverent and what I expected of them, and they delivered!!  Then, as a bonus... on the subway ride home, I had Bart on my back, Sayer in the MacLaren and Asher on the buggy board attached to the stroller.  We got on the subway, and I could feel all eyes on me, I guess I was quite the spectacle all by myself.  A few stops later, a man gets up to get off and says:

"for the record, you're amazing!" followed by another lady saying "I second that".  I said "thank you!"

Yeah, I felt like a rockstar.  Sometimes I feel like Heavenly Father prompts people to say stuff like that to show his appreciation, and to show me that other people think what I am doing is hard and commendable.  Not that it should matter what other people think, but it helps me feel validated.  Either way, it made my day.

Morgan, so glad you survived the week. I'm glad you got a little praise from some strangers. A few weeks ago I had all 3 kids with me at Walmart and the lines were crazy long to checkout. After 15 minutes in line, an old guy came up to me and said "I've been watching you and if your husband doesn't realize you're working hard then you tell him I said so." It made my day :)

And for the record, if I lived in NY with my 3 kids we'd never go anywhere so I think you're amazing too.

You made it! I saw you on Sunday with all 3 out in front of the church and I said to myself. "she rocks!"

And you were probably in a dress and heels on top of that! Amazing! When my husband is gone for a couple days at work and comes home suprised that the house is clean and the kids alive, I sweetly remind him that yes, I can do it alone, I just wansn't meant to be that way and even more than that...I don't want to! Glad you survived the week!

I love the comment about Heavenly Father. I'm sure it's true. Sounds like doctrine to me :)

You ARE amazing! You never seem to let anything get in the way of doing what you know is right, even when it's hard. For the record, I can hardly keep up with Morgan walking in New York, even when she's pushing a stroller or hauling a kid on her back! She has definitely developed certain muscles from all her "hiking" around town.
