The other night we went out to dinner as a little family, to this yummy little Italian place a couple blocks from us. While I was waiting for Nate to meet us, I walked down the side street and thought it was very picturesque and New York-y...
We had a nice time, although I don't think we will be doing that again for a little while. At least not until Sayer sits better in a restaurant high chair. Asher had fun watching himself eat in the mirror across from our table, so that kept him entertained. The owner of the place was so nice. You can tell that she gets to know every one that comes in. We ordered take out from there a while ago, and she totally remembered Nate from when he picked it up, and knew who I was just from the conversation they had had. I thought that was cool.
Asher was such a big boy. We didn't even put him in a high chair, and he stayed in his seat the whole time... well, until the very end when it was almost bedtime. Not bad at all!!
It is definitely the beginning of Fall here, and I am LOVING it! The air is very crisp and cool, and the trees are beautiful. They say that they have a real Fall here, not just a week or two like in UT. Winter doesn't really start until December, so I am very excited about that. Fall is my favorite season, and now I will actually be able to enjoy it!

I am loving all of your NYC posts. I can't believe how old Asher and Sayer look. When I saw Sayer in the swing I couldnt believe it! I am glad you like your new ward. I think that makes all the difference.
