Spread the word...
So, there's this blog I read... I don't actually know the girl (although she is the sister in law, to the sister of my sister in law, Tessa, if that makes sense!) but I came across it over a year ago right as she found out she was chosen by a birth mother to adopt her son, and I got hooked. She is such a great advocate for adoption, and I have learned so much from reading her blog. Today she put up a new post about an "adoption yard sale" that they are going to be having to raise money for their adoption (they just got chosen by a second birth mother to adopt their second son!!). They are looking for donations for things to sell at the yard sale, so I just thought I would help spread the word. Check out her blog here, and don't forget to pass along the information!!

That is so kind of u Morgs.
Um the only news is that, as of this morning, I am at a 2. Whoopdie doo, I know, but it is better than last week when I was 0.Hopefully soon though.
That sounds awesome! 1/3 of our ward here in Frisco are adoptive families...much to my amazement. So, we too, see the selfless and wonderful blessings that come to those who can and want to adopt children! :)
I know this sounds stupid, but where do you guys live currently?
so crazy- i went to school with Josh freshman year, i love their blog too!
I forget that you are related to Tessa now. Funny all our small connections. Wish I was in Utah- I have a bunch of furniture I want to get rid of before we move that would be perfect for this.
Re: Ben and Keenan -
When Dan and I were dating at BYU, Keenan was one of my roommates and Ben was in Dan's ward...and they were dating too (B & K). We didn't all hang out, but both of them are SO nice! Small world, eh? We actually reconnected with them thru your blog. :)
Some of our very best friends just adopted their first child! A little boy that they welcomed to theire home on May 23rd (he was born May 17). My father was adopted and I think it is a great way for people to have the opportunity to be parents and help a sweet little one!
P.S. I have a video of Asher and Carson and the "go-go chair", but wanted to see if you mind if I posted it. I will try to email it, once I get your email! Then you can let me know what you think!
What a great idea. It seems like everyone knows someone that is going through that process. We just had two friends adopt babies in the last couple of weeks. What an amazing thing that is.
I have a question about your new diaper bag. Do you love it? I have been researching diaper bags, since that is really the only thing I need and I love that one. I just wanted your review before I splurge. Thanks,
Katie
Hey thanks for the advice. I am going to have to convince Aaron, but I think your praise for it will help! Thanks Morgan!
